I started on more levothyroxine today 50 mg only on Sunday. The rest of the week I will take normal 37.5. I don't know what to expect as I am also now taking 5HTP for depression (amino acid) I am overcoming the depression with the Lord and people like you on this forum that give me compassion, great information , love and are there for me when I cry desperate. Thank you all and I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to those of you that are not Christians. much love and prayers for all. Linda . I will let you know what happens as I wait to see if this lowers my tsh.

Get your adrenals checked. After I started taking DHEA, I felt much better, but only under the Dr. supervision. Good luck.

I had my adrenals check by a saliva test. My naturopath had me tested. It is rather costly, and time consuming, but it only takes a day and 10 days for the results. DHEA is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands. You can by it over the counter. I only take 5mgs daily and it can not hurt you to take it. Adrenals play a big part in overcoming depression, weight gain, energy and more. If you search the net for DHEA, you will find plenty of information. Hope this helps.
