stiff neck

Hi
Recently diagnosed hypothyroid (5.8 ). Started Levothyroxine 3-4 weeks ago,@50mcgfor 3 weeks, increased to 75mcg last few days.
Have chronic stiff neck/pain, also odd things like feeling as if I've a cracked rib.
Doctor says these are unconnected with medication. Am also on HRT ( Evorel 25 patch ) 53 years of age.
How will I know when I am at the right level of Thyroxine?
Any advice appreciated

The stiff neck is just another lovely side effect of hypo-thy, I still get it now and then but I assure you once your meds get adjusted you'll feel like  new

Well it is probably due to you being hypo. give the med time to work.It takes it as long as 6 weeks to get the full effect. When I was hypo for RAI it took about 2 months to start feeling human again.
Give it some time and then bring  up your symptoms to doc if there is no improvement.BTWI get my labs done every6 weeks to check levels. Is your doc staying on top of this?
