I have never heard of that. Does it go by a more common name??? I guess Im lucky that I have never had a yeast infection before ( knock on wood) but theres always a first.
Also take acidophollus otc pills with that Cipro unless you want yeast infection you know where! I was on Levaquin for over a mo. this Spring and then again for another month with the incision infection and it worked wonders!!!!! My PCP told me to take it .. how about that ... not just me thinking time to take something bcz enough is enough!
Cheryl
Im taking 1000 mg of Cipro a day. Will be on it for a total of 14 days. Im down to only 3 antibiotics I can take....allergic to everything else.
As for the shot in the rear end......been there, done that before and OUCH!!! I had a third cheek for the looooongest time!! LOL
Speaking of cheeks...........you all DO know the rule about crispy cream donuts right??????????
You have to eat them in EVEN numbers.......so both cheeks grow at the SAME rate!! :-)
Hope you are still feeling good, and things are on the up swing for you. Take Care-Pam
That is great news! Hopefully this means you are on the road to a quick recovery!
What antibiotics have they got you on and how much? Just curious. I think you need a shot of Rocephin! LOL Makes my rear hurt laughing about it. Does take away from concentrating on the neck pain so much.

The ER doc didnt see any problem with stitches but I think she was looking more for infection.....but I will make sure if I ever have surgery again ( over my dead body LOL) I be sure to mention that.
Today was suppose to be the last day on antibiotic.....but surgeon called today and said I was to continue it for another TEN days!! First thing she has done/said that I agree with.
Hoping that the extra swelling today is from things starting to dissapate......
So happy to hear that your fever is finally gone! That can really take a toll on your body. I'm glad hubby is stepping up too. Men are funny sometimes. Kind of like if you don't see blood, it's CAN'T really hurt! I'm sorry that the swelling is so bad. Did you say something about being allergic to the stitches on another post?
Enjoy your weekend. I hope things continue to improve for you.

Great news! Even though you still have swelling, I think having the fever gone is a really positive sign. The swelling may be due to the immune response to the infection and it can take awhile for the that to go away. It just indicates that your body was pumped up and ready to fight. Way to go.
I'm so glad to hear the fever has broke...yes I have to agree with you sometimes hubby's have to see things for themselves. Let's hope each day gets better for you. Try and enjoy your day and do not use the voice to much save it for something real good to say. LOL
