surgery only option

by twisha, May 02, 2008 01:22PM
I have had a biopsy and an ultrasound recently and was told that I have complex goiter on the right side.  I have had in the past, 3 surgeries on my thyroid gland and I only have 25% left.  I'm concerned that this surgery will be difficult because of the past surgeries and the scar tissue involved.  Are these types of surgeries hard to recover from and are they difficult to perform?
