Hashi's is, of course, and autoimmune disorder so swollen lymph nodes aren't that uncommon. Many with autoimmune problems or chronic physical problems are more susceptible to infections and getting flu/colds.
The reason people notice lymph node swelling in the neck is because there isn't much tissue there to hide the swollen lymph nodes. We have lymph nodes all through our abdomen that can be swollen and we just don't realize it.
Yes, Hashi's causes the lymph nodes to swell. It may have to do with the antibodies. Mine were so sore the doctor had to do a CT scan to see what was causing the pain. I was told it's nothing to worry about.
I seem to be doing much better w/lymph node issues since going on meds in Dec. When I'm in pain (left side), I have some really tender spots that I've wondered what's caused them especially since I have left side/neck/shoulder issues from carrying a heavy purse, heavy napsack for years and bad allergies for years (but under control now).

No way a medical expert, just my experience.
What do you all do when you have a flare up?
Best,
