test results

To:gimel
My test results in June were:
TSH 0.08 (don't know lab range
FT4 21 (lab range 10-20)
Dosage of synthroid decreased from 125 mg. to 112 mg
Test results in August were:
TSH 0.11
FT4 18 (range 10 - 20)
Was on 125 mg. for approximately 18 months prior to June test. Had been on 112 mg. for more than 10 years prior to that.
Did not get FT3 test in June or August.
When I called for my results in August my doctor's office said the thyroid is still a bit out of range but is moving in the right direction. Symptomsof over stimulated thyroid are very similar to anxiety symptoms and that is why I'm not sure what I'm dealing with.

I am still having the hyper symptoms and some days worse than others. My last prescription (Aug 2009) I noticed the pharmacy gave me Eltroxin. I don't know if this makes a diffference. I am having a lot of burping and stomach problems during the past several months too. I'm just so confused as to why my thyroid is over stimulated after being hypothyroid for so many years. Also I'm not sure if some of this is caused by anxiety. What would you suggest I ask my doctor?

Are you still having hyper symptoms? Your TSH is a little too low and Free T4 probably just a tad bit to high, for being on T4 med only.
