testing

I am currently taking in the morning 0.05mg of synthroid and one cytomel 5mcg and in the eve take one more 5mcg of cytomel. When I go for testing I fast in the morning but take my synthoird .  the question is should I also take the cytomel or skip for the testing ?

Most people skip it.  If you take it too soon before your labs, FT3 is apt to be inflated.

As far as Synthroid is concerned, you should just be consistent...either always take it or never take it, but don't mix it up.

No need to fast for thyroid blood work.
