there was still thyroid tissue in neck after scan

michelle here i wanted to ask u something what i wanted to know is it possible that if sometimes they cant remove all thyroid tissue that repussions can happen or it just lays dormant until something causes it too grow back cause i went to my thy dr and i have  a ultra sound earlier than next year in 3 months time. can it happen that thyroid tissue can grow back or not now im being caredfully watched every 3 months.

my blood test way not good it is way to low behind repair now im on 200mcg lev every second day vels dr rang me today  said not good for me my blood thy levels are way to low now im on 200mcg every second day starting from toorow morning  im am feeling really hyper thyroid right now dr says other around from hot to cold.  blood in 3 months again after that dont know what its doing plus still that thy tissue possibly in neck but not sure ultra sound in 3 months  thank u for thinking of me right now.

hey michelle here thanks for that yeah my friend utah said it can grow back too the surgeon go a shock to find they didnt get it all and now im being carefully watched

what I have heard is thyroid gland can regenerate.
