throat

by daisy1969, Apr 23, 2008 11:53AM
I had the right side of my thyroid removed in 2004.
I still have the left side.
Why do I sometimes feel like I did before it was removed?
My throat sometimes feels tight and I am constantly clearing my throat.

Oh God, Daisy, dont tell me this feeling is going to last for years!  Please see my post that is called "two weeks post surgery - fullness is throat" just down from your on the first page of the forum.

I'm sorry I dont have any answers for you, however, apparently it is common after surgery.

Well.. I had a TT 3/27/08 and I am clearing my throat too! I dont know if its a habit or I am really trying to clear something. Just another bad habit I am finding myself doing sometimes. I find that if I focus on it and keep doing, it is so much worse..

After going to bed after doing this, I find my throat feels fine. Weird!
