throid surgery

i was told about 5 months ago i have graves disease i was told to take medication an i did but about 2an 1/2 weeks later i got hives from head to toe. Soon after that i was told i was to get radiation or thyriodectomy done . We had a consult with both doctors with i do recommend !!! Surgery is what i wanted so i found a good doctors and sched. it.
Now i am 5days post op from the surgery an feeling ok ! I was very surprised i was not in the pain i thought i would have been in the first couple days. The only thing i never do if i ever have surgery again is not get morphin!! I felt so sick after them giving it to me which they never told me they were after surgery i was so sleepy they just kept asking me if i was in pain an i kept saying yes but i have no clue they were putting morphin in my IV!!! And my scare has not healed yet but it is still a little stiff i see the doctor fri. If Anyone has questions about getting the surgery please contact me i will give you any information that i can supply you with. This website helped me so much with my worries i dont know what i would have done with out everyone on here thanks so much everyone!!
