thyroid diagnosis

I have not been diagnosed, but with both sisters, my mother, and grandmother having thryoid disorders I am wondering if I also may have thyroid problems.  I have missed three periods in a row.  I have no other symptoms of menopause.  I am 44 years old, but have always been on time to the day with monthly periods.  I am not pregnant, and had a tubal ligation almost 10 years ago.  I do have a call in to my doctor, but am wondering if my thyroid could be the problem.

Can't say if this is a thyroid problem without having thyroid test done, then I have obgyn check it out, because not everything is thyroid. You could be pre menopause symptoms, but you won't know until you are checked out. However, My pre menopause symptom was heavy periods 4/5  years prier  and I  was menopause at age 46/47.   The missed periods would be a concern to me.
