I dont know what any of it means my doctor is out of town and there is a history of thyroid probelms in about all the women in my family. My mom says there is something wrong but i dont know.
I have dry skin,my hair falls out, my nails are awful, i have a really hard time lossing weight and my periods have been messed up to the point i have to take hormones to stop it. Is there a probelm with my thyroid that you can see?

Ranges are .85-1.77 and thank you for answering. And can you tell me what <1.0 means.

Please post the reference range for the Free T4.  Reference ranges vary from lab to lab and have to come from your own report.  Your Free T4 looks to be quite low and your TSH is higher than normal; both indicate hypothyroidism and your symptoms bear that out.

Your doctor should start you on replacement thyroid hormones.  

Next time you get tested, you should also ask for Free T3, which is the thyroid hormone that's used by individual cells in the body and correlates best with symptoms.
