thyroid lump, enlargment

Has this condition been described as if someone had a choke hold on the front of the neck?  Especially when stressed.  AS if some one where pressing against the neck on the adam's apple

I had RAI done end of June 2008, then keyhole TT (thyroidectomy) September 2008.
I am in Australia and we dont pay for it here.
I had it done in a nucler department at a Hospital...swallowed the pill then walked out.
One dose of RAI kills your thyroid normally. I was Hypo by 5-6 weeks later.
Simple as that.
Took precautions as advised and the rest is history.
Got my levels stable (had a hiccup when I got the flu a few weeks ago) and doing great!
Went back to fulltime work in October 2008 after no working out of home for over 2 years.
I am now on Thyroxin (t4 med).

I looked up RAI not sure about TT  is that Adoxa TT?  I read up on the RAI.  WOW I must say that it a pretty intense treatment.  How long ago did you have it done, where, how much $. How many treatments and meds required or is that by individual case.  Case by case

I always felt that someone had their hands round my throat trying to choke me.
I was then dx Graves with Hyperthyroidism.
Once I had the RAI and TT, that sensation went.
