thyroid reading
I m 35 yrs old. i got my thyroid test done. the readings were
T3 - 92.7
T4 - 6.0
TSH - 3.82
the doctor has advised me to take thyroxine 50 mcg. for three months. he says that i  am in a subclinical stage . is he right?

Your doctor is right to put you on 50 mcg with your high TSH, but I do not understand your reference ranges for T4 and T3. FreeT4 and FreeT3 are more reliable tests. Those others are outdated. Because of your high TSH, I advise a thyroid ultrasound and the following blood tests: TGab and TPOab. You need to determine if Hashimoto's is the cause.

Please post your reference ranges for your T3 and T4 tests as well as any symptoms you may be experiencing. Constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, pain in feet, legs, dry skin, eye pain, neck pain, GERD, heartburn, leg weakness, memory loss, brain fog, depression, anxiety, hair loss, flu-like feeling, rashes, hives, etc...
