thyroid tests

I received a call from my physicians office telling me of my test results but not giving any information as to what they meant.  Twice was told that I needed to make an appointment with Endroconology.
I did go by and picked up a copy of the test results to be sure I didn't misunderstand the numbers.
T4 FREE 0.94, TSH 4.650, T3 FREE 2.9, Thyroperoxidase AB 393.1 and Thyroglobulin AB SCR >500.
Please explain - especially the last two in layman's terms - just what do they mean to me?  My appointment with Endro isn't for another 3 weeks.I realize that I probably have Hashimoto, however, am wondering if there may be something more to this?  I'm not generally a worrier, however, would like to know what you think.
Thanks

Well at least now you know where you are headed.
But your Endo should explain more when you see him/her.
Let us know how you go .

Thanks for your response - I was concerned by the high figures for thyroperoxidase ab as the norm range was <9.0 and mine was recorded as 393.1, also the norm for thyroglobulin ab scr is 500.  That just didn't make any sense to me at all.

The only complaints I have is painful hips , back of neck pain, overweight, low energy level  and do get cold during the night - I can't say I feel sick, however I do seem to have a high tolerance for pain.

Thyroperoxidase AB is antibodies test (Graves and Hashimoto) and also tests for inflammation.
Thyroglobulin AB  is testing for Hashimoto or cancer cell antibodies.

With a TSH of 4.60, it looks like borderline Hypothyroidism to me....although hard to say without the reference ranges posted.

My guess is you have Hashi's and may need a T4 medication to get the TSH down.
Your Endo will investigate further by probably ordering an ultrasound to make sure there are no nodules on the thyroid.

Do you have any symptoms such as feeling cold, sluggish metabolism, low pulse, no appetite, lethargy?
