thyroid tissue doesn't take the I-131

I just completed the radioactive Iodine (I-131) treatment, had the scan. The results from my total body scan showed that the thyorid tissue did not uptake the I-131. What does this mean? The dr also wants to wait 6 months before she does any more testing. Should I be concerned?
