thyroxine

I have used Levothyroxine for one year. Daily dose is 1/2 tablet 10pcg. I want to know whether Levothyroxine does any harm to liver or kidneys?

t4 is what your thyroid produces.along with t3 and a few other thyroid hormones. if your body doesn't need the extra you're taking it would probably give you hyper-like symptoms.Deb is right, at such a small dose i wouldn't be concerned about harming your liver or kidneys.but curious as to why you're taking it??

The only harm done is when there is not enough thyroid hormones through your body.
You are on a very low dose of Levo if I have read your posting right.
What was your disgnosis and last lot of labs?
