HI .. you may want to ask for your Vit D to be checked. Some similar symptoms to Hypo are assoc with low vitamin d. Just my thoughts along with calcium tests to be done to make sure you are ok there, too but usually I think it would affect your faceFace pain with tingling ??
I had to have my thyroid removed and the surgeon advised that my calcium might be a little low if I have that tingling in my feet and legs...I'd think Chitchat9 is right on with having that checked along with vitamin d. When the thyroid isn't working quite right it seems to skew a lot of things.
I have hypo and all the glorious hyper symptoms. I am currently dealing with no sleep. I think the tingling could also be from the rapid heart rate. Before I was put on Beta Blockers and anti-anxiety meds, I was having all the gory stuff: Severe heart palps, anxiety, numbness in arms and legs, trouble breathing, diarreah, nausious, loss of appetite... oh the list goes on. Now I just feel like I am trying to sleep after drinking a Red Bull. They tried to give me Anbien, but it did not help me sleep. Some people react differently to it.
Definitely get your calcium and Vit D levels checked! Having low Vit D will mean you won't be absorbing calcium. VERY vital in your well being regardless of thyroid issues!
You could be me! Very bad tingling and cramping in legs. soreness. I'm 41 and move like im 71. I started taking b12, b-complex, magnesium and vit d supplements about 2 months ago and that did help quite a bit. I would say 50% of feet tingling is gone.
I feel like a novice captain of a ship steering it through a sea of storms searching out better lands. There are so, so many symptoms to deal with when that little thing in your throat goes bad. You may go through 10 physicians till you find one that is willing to treat you and not your labs.

And yes the thyroid issues do cause tingling and numbness of the fingers....usually Hypo.
