toxic mutli nodules untreated

doctors found multi nodules on right side of neck in 2003. doctoer had a fna done. they were benign. that was wonderfull!  the doctor said that there was nothing to worry about that twould just keep an eye them. My blood work and soft tissue ultasound was done three times over  the next 18 months, that was 2003 to 2005. went to see in May 2007 the endocrinoligist but seen the his PA. I told her the reason I came back, I was having a lot of health issues,  like racing heart, retaing a lot of fluid and stomach problems. She e-mail and said the everything is the same, nothing change. I'm having all types of health problems, from inflamation (inflammation) of the eyes to puffiness in face,neck hands and legs. at times i've woke up gasping for air and choking. I get tire when I walk, legs seem like they  are straining! thenI start having shortness of breath. If that isn't enough I'm getting stiff in the knees and it hurts to bend them. I live upstairs and it is getting harder to climb the stairs. My primary doctor  thinks this all related to the problem with the thyroid gland, she had an thyroid uptake done in november 2007 , the results show that I have toxic multinodular goiters. in february was rush to the hospital because I was thought to be having a heart attack. was hospitalized and done another heart cath.$33,000 later found everything to be just fine a healthy heart. Forgive me if it sounds like i'm not greatful about this. I am, but meanwhile I think i'm going out of my mind. are these  thing related, is this all in my head? I go back to the endocrinologist(PA ) june 25  2008 for more lab. is there something Ineed to be asking. please tell me! I have become very depress over this.
