vertigo and thyroid

anyone ever had a virtigo problem with thyroid.. is that normal?

Looking back, before I knew I had anything going on, I had this a lot more than most people.  Sometimes when I would describe it others didn't know what I was talking about.  They would think I was just being a bit 'out there' or on something.   It's a different feeling from dizziness.  It usually occured for me about mid-morning.

I really don't have it anymore after having my thyroid and one bad parathyroid gland removed.
