voice disorder
My voice became strained sounding several years back and it has never gotten better. Stress makes it worse. I've had ever test you can think of and the doctors can't seem to figure out why it sounds strained. I was wondering if this could be related to my thyroid? My thyroid results come back normal but my temperature is always low which seemed to match wilson's low temperature disorder. I have a brother who has hypo-thyroid and when he doesn't take her synthroid his voice gets deep and husky. I'm wondering if this voice issue is related to the thyroid?

Hi,

have you been tested for FT3, FT4 and TSH?  Can you post the results and ranges, then we can comment.

It may or may not be thyroid related.
