weight loss

by steph174, May 11, 2009 04:12AM
Hi

I was diagosed with an underactive thyroid last september and have been on eltroxin since then. I was on a very small dosage for nearly 8 months and my doctor has just increased it because i was starting to feel very tired again and have not been able to lose weight in the past month or so, I exercise very regularly and eat quite healthily. is there anything else that i might be able to do to help me lose weight? its so frustrating!!

It takes quite a while for your body to shed the extra weight from being hypo.....and only after you have been at optimum levels for a while. Try to be patient, eat healthy and try to get some exercise, even if it is just walking or stretching.
