what are general results with taking synthroid 50mcg

I was just diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, My TSH+FREE T4 was 13.152 High. I've read the levels do by individuals. Is this truely high & what kind of results can i expect with medication??

Here are my levels with meds on TSH only:

Before surgery with normal thyroid:   TSH 2.8
                                      100mcgs  0.667
                                        88mcgs  1.3
                                        75mcgs  1.8

Not sure if this helps but maybe?  goes by wt also ..

It is not as high as I started out.  My TSH was 98.  With the synthroid, your levels should come down maybe to normal range.  You will be tested again and if your levels are not normal yet, they will probably up you to 75mcg and then test again in 4-6 weeks.  Your T4 should level out also.  Hang in there.
