what does a T3 uptake of 40.2 mean?
My blood test results show:
TSH 2.34
T4 5.7
T3 uptake 40.2
Free T4 index 2.3

I feel well but a T3 uptake of 40.2 is a little high and my father had a thyroid condition. Should I be worried?

The T3 uptake is an outdated test.....you should be having a free t3 test done which will show the most active form of thyroid hormone in your body.
Please remember to always give your lab reference ranges with your results, as different labs use different ranges. :)
