The true normal level varies from person to person.

"Normal ranges" vary from lab to lab and opinions vary from doctor to doctor. Typical normal ranges would be;

TSH 0.5 to 5.0
FT3 2.30 to 4.20
FT4 0.6 to 1.2

Different labs use slightly different ranges. Maybe 0.4 to 5.5 for TSH, etc.

A TSH of up to 10.0 can be considered normal and not require treatment if the patient is not already being treated, so it can be rather arbitrary.

The "perfect numbers" for feeling best varies from person to person, as I said, which makes it difficult, because those numbers have to be found by trial and error.

Hope this makes sense.
