what is the normal T3 range?

I am on Synthroid 125mcg and Cytomel 25mcg and I feel great but my test results have come back that my T3 is high...it is 276..what does that mean? What is the T3 range?

What range is your lab using? I go to Quest Diagnostics and the Free T3 range is (230-420)
Are you havng a free t3 done or a total t3?

I'm not sure what range they are using...im going to call and see - I believe it is total T3

they told me that they didnt do a free T3,all they did was a total T3 and their range is 54-156

a total t3 test is outdated and not used. The Free T3 test is the actual most active form of thyroid hormone in the body. Our Free T4 gets converted over to Free T3.
You need to ask them to do the correct test (Free T3) with your Free T4 and TSH to compare all 3 properly.
