T3, AND FREET4  NORAMAL.  T.4----18, TSH---48.   PATIENT SUFFURING FROM HYPOTHYROIDSM SCIENCE5YEARS,FROM LAST TWOYEARS SUFFARING FROM COPD,    TREATD FOR    CO2 RETAION BEFORE TWO MONTHS. HER AGE IS 70 YEARS PLEASE ADVICE ME PROPERLY . TREATMENT &PROGNOSIS. AT PRESENTTAKING THYROX 150mcg.

What are the actual Free T3 and Free T4 levels, along with the reference ranges printed on the lab report?  These ranges vary from lab to lab, or country to country, so must come from the actual lab report.  

Please post additional information in order for members to comment more fully on the particular situation.

TSH is Quite high so that will explain the HYPO symptoms. Treatment may vary depending on the patient's condition. Synthroid (Levothroxin (sp?)) is the base treatment for hypothyroidism and will bring the levels down and relieve the hypo symptoms. If the patient does not cope well on Synthroid (Levothoxin (sp?)), there are alternative med's that will help. Is patient under care of a Endocrinologist????
