what now

what now

8 weeks ago my TSH was 27.23 and my T4 was 4.0.  Now after meds my TSH is down to 8.8 but my TSH is even lower at .15.  Not real sure was T4 does can anyone explain to me my doc doesn't always do the best job:) and what could be causing it to keep going down?

I'm a little confused. too.
What is your TSH?
What kind of T4 test was run? a Total T4 or a Free T4?
What is the high/low range used by the lab that processed the T4 test?

They didn't do a free t4 or free t3 but the numbers I gave of 8.8 (range 5.0-12.)and .15 (range of .50-5.0) are correct

You are listing two different tests but calling them a TSH test.

The second range you listed of 0.5-5.0 is a familiar range for TSH, so I assume your TSH is .15, which is a little low.

What the first test is all about I do not know.
Total T4 maybe?

Your TSH was supposed to go down, but it looks like maybe the dosage you are on needs to be reduced now. Did your doctor lower the med dose?

Yes the first number is the T4 of 8.8 and the TSH is .15 Doc has adjusted anything yet, so we'll see.
