when will it kick in

I was just diagnosed with Graves Disease. Apparently my counts are three times what they should be. I am really feeling tired and having MAJOR heart palpitations. My Doctor just put me on tatazole. How long will it take before I start to feel better and the big question.. how much weight will I put on.?

How long it takes you to START feeling better is a good question. How much weight you will put on is unknown, and frankly, the least important question you could ask. You may not gain any weight.

How much Tapazole are you taking?
What was your TSH?
