will levothyroxin(levothyroxine) raise my blood pressure?

Just started taking levothyroxin (levothyroxine) about a month or so ago. I'm on 50 mcg/day.
Yesterday, I had a dr's appt and my blood pressure was pretty high. I was suuuuuper nervous about the dr's appt b/c I need surgery (unrelated to thyroid) so I knew I was scared and that might have made it elevated.
But i just wanted to see if that's a sign that I'm getting too much levothyroxin (levothyroxine) or if it's unrelated and just a freak thing b/c I was so nervous and I shouldn't even worry about it.

Unfortunately thyroid issues and high blood pressure go hand in hand. I'm talking to my doctor about this today and I'll let y'all know if I hear anything worth repeating.
