worried while waiting for FNA

I have had a ultra sound- showed:  right lobe measures 5.9 X 2.6 X 1.9 cm & left lobe 4.5 X 2.1 X 2.2 cm with respect to sagittal, AP and transverse dimensions.  The thyroid echotexture is diffusely heterogeneous.  The thyroid isthmus is also prominent measuring 8 mm.  Multiple nodules are present in both lobes of the thyroid.  The largest nodule on the right lower pole measuring 1.7 X 0.6 X 0.7 cm and on the left mid pole 1.3 X 0.6 X 1.0 cm.  Increased color flow is present.  After that I had a I-123 scan showing:  The imaging showed irregular tracer uptake and slight glandular asymmetry.

I am scheduled for a ultra-sound guided biopsy, but not for 3 weeks with results another 2 weeks.
Is anyone knowledgable about any or all of my test results?  What do they mean?  Any info would be so very much appreciated!

The FNA is ordered because two biggest nodules are more then 1 cm in size and the increased color flow is present.

However: “We determined that color Doppler cannot reliably distinguish benign from malignant thyroid nodules; fine-needle aspiration biopsy remains the most accurate method in differentiating benign and malignant lesions. We suggest that color Doppler sonography plays only a LIMITED role in the evaluation of nodular thyroid disease at this time.” Source:
