Asking for my husband

My husband has TS. He is 24 and he has recently developed a tic where he kind of snaps his head around. It is really starting to bother him and his neck is sore all the time....Now let's see if I can figure out how to ask this.....Is there anyone out there with TS who maybe knows how to change what tics they do or favor? He's not on any meds and doesn't want to be....

you're probably right, but it's just bothersome to him because most of his other tics are more subtle (throat clearing, blinking, sniffing, a few others) He used to just tilt his head to the side, but now he literally jerks his head around like you described. He's getting headaches and is sore all the time and it would just be nice if he could just channel that somewhere else if it's possible...He doesn't really care what people think, so he doesn't care about covering it up....He was diagnosed when he was a kid, so he's been through the doctor thing and finds it pointless as nothing has helped.

my boyfriend has ts. well i guess it must be minor or maybe im just used to it...I will ask him when he wakes up but i know sometimes he like will spaz out an its like hes looking at something like a double take kinda. it might be just that hes dealt with it for so long that he tries to be incognito about it. I'm not really sure about any ways to control it but hes pretty good at covering it up. and that might be all he can do..hes not on any meds either and he won't even see any doctors about anything.
