what medications work

My son is diagnosed with ADHA tourettes and oppositional defiant> was on vyvans and abilify. My parents were concerned about his weight, so over the summer I chose to try zoloft only. Will this be enough? What can I excpect

I my self have ts. All medicines work differently for other people. My brother and i AND my father have it. What works for them may not work for me. Right now i have found that antidepressants work the best. I am on 2 of them right now. Effexor and fluoxetine. I was on just one. then just the other. then with both i did the best. With just fluoxetine i gained 30 pounds in one school year. Then at the end i went on to both. just this summer alone i have lost 16 pounds. It has screwed up my appetite very bad though. I barley eat. I can be hungry but i just have no appetite.
Then being on an anti depressant itself has its advantages. Ts can really bring down your mood. I have had serios depression over it. Now, i am as happy as can be, and im feeling better about my tics.
