Hair transplant surgery safe to eyes

I am 30 years old in good health.
My parents has a history of retinal detachment and I have been diagonosed with few weak spots in retina which MD says is OK. MD advised to come for checkup every 2 years or so.

Does Hair transplant surgery has any impact on the health of eyes?
Is it safe to do so?

Jolly,

I am not a doctor, but I have undergone 2 hair transplant surgeries in the past 2.5 years. So, if you have other questions feel free to email me.

I would somewhat doubt it effects your eyes in anyway because it is a topical surgery that involves the skin on your scalp only.

However the meds required after the surgery may be something to look into. You can be expected to take the following after HT surgery

Prednisone for swelling - check into the effects
Antibiotic for infection
Pain reliever

again, not a doctor, this is just my non expert input.
