Partial eye transplant/Tetrachromacy question
I know that is possible to replace parts someone's eye with part of an other person's eye, but my question is this; if someone were to replace parts of a subject's (lets call them Sub A) eye with parts that came from a functional tetrachromat's (Sub B) eye (the part that is responsible seeing color [cones I believe?]) would Sub A's brain adapt and become able to see the color's previously hidden from him?

Just curious and even if I'm way off, could someone please, A) refine my question and either B) explain why it was wrong, or C) tell how this is possible?

Thanks!
