Prograf insomnia remedies?

by ctroutline, Aug 18, 2009 12:05PM
I received a kidney transplant over 10 years ago and have recently been switched from rapamune to prograf.  So far the main side effect has been insomnia and sleep disruptions.  Does anyone have some successful remedies to assure a good night's sleep?

I am 6 months and 11 days post kidney transplant.  I was having the same problem with prograf.  My dr. prescribed some ambien to help me sleep.  I took it for a bit and slowly weaned off.  I am fine now, just a night owl.

Hope this helps some!

By the way, I long to be you 10 years from now, saying I am 10 years post transplant.  Congratulations!

Roni
