HI,
How is your husband? Ascites or build-up of fluid in the space between the lining of the abdomen and abdominal organs may result from high pressure in the blood vessels of the liver and low levels of a protein.  This can be associated with underlying medical conditions and it is important that the condition that causes ascites will be treated. Antibiotics  and diuretics may be indicated. Also, large spleen may be associated with diseases of the blood or lymph system, infections, cancer and also liver diseases.  It is best that you discus the management plan with your husband's attending physician. Take care and do keep us posted.

As of now we get him to admit to hospital for proper medication, they already prescribes antibiotics and diuretic tabs for his ascites, Gods will it will be ok.
My 2nd question is, in his condition as 7 yrs post transplant can be now easy to remove his spleen? is it better or not advisable? as his platelets also comes out low. thanks again.
