Hello everybody!
I have a question for You and the members, reading the topic! We have a transplanted patient in our unit,50-th day after the liver transplantation, taking Prograf! For the last few weeks he had some recurrent liver infection manifested with tempreture(maximum 38.5)...the patient is on combined antibiotic therapy but no results! We are thinking about to include human intravenous immuneglobulines to stimulate the immune system in fighting the bacterial infection! How do You think about the idea...and is this adequate therapy!I really appreciate your oppinion and i am waiting for your answear!
Thank You

Hi, the immunoglobulins need to be specific for the infecting organism for them to act. Please concur with specialists in this arena for best results. Good luck
