lens inplant in eye

can a contact damage your eye a rgp contact damage the cornea if u have an inplant, i have had this contact less than2 months and i have worn it 5 hours a day only 5 days a week. my eye is painfull and blood red, doctor said i am over using it in my eye. not to wear it for at least a week, i have had an eye injury, and my eyeball, is not round anymre, i can not wear glasses they want help my sight, does this mean the contact is not going to work, and do i have any options left,
