Hello,
One of the most definite types of scientific studies has been done to answer the question as to whether or not patients with MS should receive the influenza vaccination (Miller et al 1997). The study demonstrated that patients with MS did not have an increase number of exacerbations following influenza vaccination and the authors concluded that the influenza vaccination is safe for most patients.
In general, while there is no contraindication to proceeding with the influenza vaccination and beginning Copaxone several weeks later, specific treatments decisions are best made by discussion your plan with your treating health care provider.
