Daily Migraine Headache

by chiagrimley, Aug 20, 2008 12:26AM
Hello. My boyfriend has been having what could be called Daily Migraine Headache for going on 5 years now. He always has some degree of a headache or pressure in his head. It has never stopped.

We have now been to several hospitals, including the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago which we drive to every few months. He has been on many preventatives, pain medicines, anti seizure medications and nothing really seems to help. Imitrex barely works anymore and no other pain meds seem to work. I'm trying to find out something, anything, because the doctors he sees just seem to want to give him some pain medicines. I feel like if we knew what to say maybe they would do some other tests.
