Help-my neuralogist didn't explain!

by pileggi01, Aug 21, 2008 03:02PM
I have been suffering from shaky hands, confusion, and at times, difficulty speaking simple words (I get stuck)- I also have a chronic dull pain across my forehead (have sinus issues as well), stiff/sore neck.  I had an MRI of cervical spine (unremarkable), a MRI of head - showed vertebral basilar ectasia causing compression on brain stem by pons, and an Ultrasound of carotid showing tortuosity of left internal carotid artery.  My neurologist was not concerned with either finding, nor linked my symptoms with findings.  He suggested a MRA then maybe to follow-up with him on a yearly basis.  I am not clear on what either finding actually means or possible impact in future with my health- could you explain please???????????
