nervous "tick"?

by brostrawn, Sep 18, 2008 12:26AM
For the past week I have been having a nervous tick in my groin area.  I am unable to pinpoint the single spot.  Every 2.5 minutes I have a tingling feeling that reminds me of the vibration of my cell phone (in fact there have been times that I thought it was my cell phone.).  These regular "ticks" last for aprox. 20 seconds.  They begin and end abruptly.

They are not really a problem except they are annoying  and makes me wonder if perhaps there is some deeper underlying cause.

Any suggestions to cause or remedy?  I am one of the 47 million uninsured and am looking for answers.
All body functions seem to be normal.

Thanks

To: hi brostrawn
I had the same thing it can be one of two things.
firstly it could be just a nerve pulsating because of the poisition your sitting or standing it in could be pinching nerve  or maybe if your female it could be cysts in your ovarys i have ovarian cysts and my groin area pulsates which can be quite annoying as you cant help but be aware of it.

hope this is of benefit to you.

All the best.
