Domino effect

I was diagnosed 13 years ago in another city.  When I moved I have had trouble getting drs to agree with original diagnosis.  My original meds were tegretol and neurotin (pain was so severe I would black out).  Since then I have been told I have atypical facial pain, atypical migraines and 2 yrs ago they found 2 cysts on my brain.  Recently I have lost my job because of all my abscences, losing my insurance.  I am already in debt from medical bills so before I dig myself further in debt with more tests because of yet another new smptom I figured I would post and get opinions.  In the last month I wake up with tingling pain in my left arm, sometimes its between elbow and wrist, others, shoulder to elbow.  I have tried massage therapy, alternating heat and cold (making head explode), and tylenol.  Tylenol gets rid of pain, but not tingles and numbness. HELP!!!

I don't really have answers either but just an idea. Perhaps you have TN but the cysts are in addition to the TN and causing the tingling and arm pain. Do you have previous MRI's that show you didn't have cysts? Also, there is another great site that people help each other on:
it is called Trigeminal Neuralgia Support and it is on Facebook. Good luck to you. Someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

I don't have any answers, I just wanted to give some support.  I have seen what feels like every doctor in my area and been given a whole list of diagnosis (they give one, then change their mind).  I have a list of symptoms and am working on getting rid of the list of medications that they've put me on.  I really hope that you are able to find answers.  I know it isn't a lot but you might want to look into social security disability (that's what I finally had to do) and then you could get some sort of state medical assistance to help with the medical bills (in some cases it might even be retroactive for a few months).  I just wanted you to maybe feel like you weren't all alone.  I know I am not in your exact situation, but I know both our situations suck.  I'm sure you will get lots of answers from people that know lots more than I do, but I just wanted you to know that somebody out there would be thinking about you and your situation and hoping for the best.
