Is this Trigeminal neuralgia or something else?

I have recently been told by my Neurologist that I have atypical TN. Had MRI and CT scan they found nothing wrong.I have had alot of pain in my teeth and facial numbness on upper and lower left side of my face. Just recently my left side of my face started burning. It was like that for 3 days. Now when I put pressure on my temple area, the pain in my teeth goes away. Could there be something else that is causing this pain?  Facial migraines?

If I were you, I'd find a Facial Pain Specialist -- you can find one at a large teaching hospital.  These doctors see people with facial pain every day.  You could get a more precise diagnosis and treatment.  I went through 5 doctors (dentist, orthodontist, ENT, Internist, Neurologist) before I found #6 -- the Facial Pain Specialist who helped me.

Wishing you the best!
