TN and sinus infection

Both times I have suffered TN attacks (once in January and once in May) I was also diagnosed (via CT scan) with a sphenoid sinus infection.  Now that the infection has been cleared (that took nearly a year and several medications) is there any chance the TN will not return?  Could the TN have been caused by the sphenoid sinus infection?

Hi,

The answer to your main question is yes, there is a chance that the TN will not return. Sinus infections are a known (but often overlooked) cause for trigeminal neuralgia-like or facial pain problems.

How was the infections cleared? Did you have sinus surgery for this?
