In answer to what can I do - The following breathing technique (pranayam) will fix the underlying cause of the pain, and works gradually, so allow time for it to work.It is the extra oxygen going into the blood cells which helps the body to heal.If you can update this thread, whenever you can, it will help others.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

I was told I had T/N, & have been treated 5-6 years with anti-seize meds. Ended up in
hospital a few weeks ago when this pain and others mimiced a heart attack warning for women, told
by their doc and a new neuro dr that I do not have it, and just keep taking med's,
well what do I have ? if I do not take med's on time I get horrible jaw pain and it will
radiate to other side.  everything I have read sounds like T/N not A-Typical face pain.
what do I do ? .
any thoughts ??

I would suggest you find a large teaching hospital with a Facial Pain clinic.  Facial Pain specialists deal with this every day.  Hopefully they will be able to correctly diagnose your problem and get you relief, whether it turns out to be TN or something else.  The main thing is to find the right doctor who can help your specific situation.

Best of luck!
