infraorbital nerve block

Had a infraorbital nerve block done at the cleveland clinic. When the doctor first put the needle in I felt a sharp,brief pain. The pain did not have a electric type feeling, nor did it travel into my nose or teeth. When the block was over. my eyeball felt funny, like a diplopia. This lasted just for a min or two then my eye was fine. But it seems that I have discomfort now by my bone under my eye. sometimes along the nose area. Could the doctor have injured this nerve. Could he have injected right into the nerve, or did he inject into the infraorbital foramin? Do you think that I should try another infraorbital block with a steriod just in case there is inflamation (inflammation) in the nerve.
