ovulation test question

hi there i had my 5th m/c in april and desperately want to get pregnant again asap, this is the 1st cycle we have been ttc and i got my first positive on an opk 2 days ago, we had sex the 2 days leading up to the positive and also the day i got the result, i wondering if iv missed my chance because we didnt do it last night and i read today that after ur positive on a opk u ovulate 1-2 days later so now im wondering if i have missed my shot? please shed any light as iv tried using them before i had my dd and never picked up my ovulation on the so iv been testing from the start of my cycle to maje sure i dont miss it so i havent used the properly before so any advice would be great! baby dust to everyone ttc :)

we did it 3 night prior to getting the +opk and then the night of the + and then 48 hours after the +, im so hoping we go the egg :) im 6dpo now so im going to start testing next week :)

The fact that you had intercourse leading up to the +opk is good. Sperm lives inside you for about 5 days. You will release an egg 24-48 hours after a +opk usually. You are still in good shape and it only takes one. The best thing is to have intercourse a couple days leading up to the +, during the + and then a couple days after to confirm. Good luck!!!
