I havent ever heard of that but I did find this article that said: If you do take it, you should make sure the Muncinex has no letters in it (ie: NOT Mucinex DM, ect) only Mucinex  (or store brand) with the only active ingredient is guaifenesin, and it contains 100 mg per teaspoon. I hear there is new product that is specially designed for women with cm issues... I thinnk it is Fertile CM. But I do not know anything about it... maybe the internet? It doesnt hep create cervical mucus, it just thins it.

Well some one told me I could use it to help thin out by cervical mucus and it would help with TTC. I was wondering if that was the kind I need?

Mucinex is a very good product. It is expensive but worth it. There are several different Mucinex products. Each one should say on the box what is used for. The expectorant is used to stop the start of coughing. Look at each one closly to find one that suits your symptoms.
